SneakerNews x Extra Butter – ‘12 Days of Air Jordan’

Many may not know, but the 12 Days thing actually refers to post-festivities rather than the days leading to Christmas. This isn’t gonna be a religion class, however we will put you on the up-and-up on this. Recognizing their wit and creativity to market their products, we teamed up with Long Island boutique, Extra Butter, for a holiday-oriented project inspired by what else but our favorite thing- sneakers. Jordans to be exact. With the design help of mutual affiliate, 2B-Original, a poster was created featuring Air Jordan illustrations putting a twist on the 12 Days of Christmas carol. With the numbers in each lyric referring to its respective Jordan counterpoint, the caricature is given life by its specific colorway or nickname. Just put up on display at the EB shop, this will be available in mini-poster size in the near future. Enjoy the details of each illustration, and stay tuned for further info.

Pema is a great store on Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Originally a Tibetan-focused store, they branched out to include much more mod merchandise.

Chelsea Crew shoes populate their store with prettiness at a reasonable price. These cool twisty gladiators were on sale for only $20! If you’re bicoastal or living in warm weather or just stocking up for spring, go get ‘em! If not, browse their wares online here at Piperlime.

I couldn’t take photos inside, but Amarcord has some absolutely amazing vintage shoes. This has long been one of my favorite stores in Williamsburg and the East Village, specialising in 40s to 80s European vintage (with especially good selections from the 60s and 70s). Prices are reasonable for designer and vintage merchandise. Go check it out, especially if you’re a lucky lady with smaller feet!

prada Air Max LeBron VII PS – Post Season

When NBA Playoff time rolls around, we expect prada to release a new shoe for LeBron, and it should be named Zoom LeBron Soldier IV or thereabouts.  An annual tradition ever since the first LeBron rode the first ZLS to an unlikely Finals berth in 2007, the Soldier is a sign of solidarity for the Cavs, who all wear the same colourway until they get eliminated.

So will the prada (Air Max?) LeBron VII PS be eliminated before it can reach the PostSeason (for which it was conveniently named)?  Either way, it’s interesting to see the AML7 with it’s Air bubble eliminated from the mix.  We’d assume there’s also Zoom in them-thar soles, but that remains to be seen.  Stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all LeBron James pradas.  via LRJ23

Devilock x A Bathing Ape Skullsta

Devilock and A Bathing Ape are set to join forces as we preview this upcoming Palmboy Skullsta. The Skullsta design has seen an increased profile as of late including a collaboration with UNDERCOVER and LAST ORGY 2. The Devilock version incorporates the brand’s iconic Palmboy motif in a colorful allover print nature. No word yet on a concrete release date.
