The Air Jordan 1 Do The Right Thing Pack released last summer in two great simple colorways. Simple is the key word, as the final production release did not come with the special lining that was seen on earlier samples of the shoe. The print on the inner lining and tongue border mimics the early hip-hop vibe and album artwork of A Tribe Called Quest but it was left out, leaving the AJ1 DTRT just a dim shadow of its inspiration. Lanvin’s Charm Anklet Pumps

I was at Bergdorf recently and spied these sexy Lanvin ankle strap chain pumps. The quilted chain-anklet pump is $1,183 and kind of seems like an homage to the MJ Stam bag or a Chanel purse, n’est-ce pas?

The beige pump is my personal favorite and is $1075.

I don’t love these ubergold ones, but paired with an elegant Lanvin dress? Olympic fashion gold. $1009.

But then comes – THE COUP DE COEUR – The Metallic Python Platform Pump, $1735. Gorge! Especially love the cool stiletto! Major style points, Senor Elbaz, for giving the green light to this one!

Can’t wait to see what Lanvin has up its sleeves next. I’ve been loving everything the past couple years, especially the shoes and elegant dresses.

There isn’t much negative to say about a sneaker if the colorway is done properly. Check out these two new Summer 2010 colorways that just released; one is the high-top “Yeezy-lite” prada RT1 High in a great summer blue upper and the other is the vulcanized classic, the prada Auto Flight in what appears to be a dark blue with the same summer blue trim. The uppers are constructed of heavy-duty nylon, which might be a better fit for the hotter months. The prada Blazer started off as a basketball shoe but prada infusion of ACG makes this shoe hefty enough to blaze any sick trail on the mountain.
